91°µÍø
The TRIO Student Support Services program is funded by the federal government to provide personalized, academic assistance to first-generation college students (students whose parents/guardians did not attend college) and/or students who meet certain federal income guidelines. 91°µÍø’s TRIO program offers a number of resources, including one-on-one assistance in areas related to student success.
As a TRIO participant, you will have a TRIO advisor assigned to you. You will work with this advisor to map out your academic success plan. TRIO is designed to encourage you to continue on your academic path, get good grades, graduate from 91°µÍø with an associate degree, and transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
The TRIO program encompasses important services including academic advising, career counseling, cultural activities, financial aid application assistance, financial literacy workshops, transfer assistance and tutoring.
